Small info..Madras regiment was the first to land in srilanka, but when the army prepared for the war against ltte..they feared that the soldiers in madras regiment will not obey the orders to fight against...so they were silently sent back to madras..replaced with gorkhas, the worst sikh light infantry..lack of tamil speaking officers and soldiers lead to the total failure of the mission..the indian army general was also tamil and the head of military intelligence was also tamil..most of the RAW agents spoke tamil..they would have solved it peacefully..but the northindian high commisioner in colombo and then srilankan president julius jeyawardane the cunning fox turned into chaos..later sl army supplied weapons to ltte to fight against indian army.

Get your facts correct. I am not against LTTE. But please search operation Pawan of IPKFA. LTTE suffered heavy casualties. As a result of which they agreed for cease fire. IPKF suffered loss but LTTE was delapidated and surrendered their arms. Technically LTTE didn't win against IPKF. You can have false bravado, but your statement contravene the facts.
