No wellz debate was 100 Anbu in a SNEAK attack. The Anbu black ops were made for stealth missions silent killing tactics. Itachi would be on the Anbu, kakashi was also in the Anbu at that time with mangekyo sharingan. Itachi made up his mind abt killing the clan the moment they were accusing him of killing shisui. Itachi would be the one who goes after his father and instead of obito kakashi would be the one taking out the police force. And the other Anbu could take out the civilians, it’s not really a suicide mission. Tho I do think not all Anbu would survive

I would love to be in a debate with these guys 😂 So many valuable points they left. Fugaku was around the same level as Minato and he said himself his Mangekyo is strong enough to control the 9 tails so he was fully capable of fighting back he just didn’t want to fight his son he just accepted his death. If Danzo didn’t kill of Shisui he deffly would’ve fought back for his clan. Itachi specifically wanted Obito to kill the higher rank Uchihas and Itachi basically killed all civilians Uchiha members besides his dad, so there’s a lot of points they left out that could’ve changed the tides in this argument.

Bro what? Itachi killed all the Uchiha including the kids because he was able to read the stone tablet manipulated by Zetsu. He knew how cursed the sharingan’s power was and to avoid further suffering for his clan or a possible future coup that could arise from the creation of another corrupt Uchiha, he killed everyone. There are three reasons why he left Sasuke alive. One was because he had intel on the leaf which he could use to keep Danzo at bay and have Sasuke protected by the Leaf while they trained him to become strong enough to kill Itachi and avenge the clan which would be a fitting end. The second reason was because he had one Kotoamatsukami which would force Sasuke to protect the village regardless of his will if the life he envisioned for Sasuke after their fight didn’t turn out as planned. And the third was because he did share a small level of annoyance with his clan and felt it would be more peaceful for everyone if they were just gone, but he couldn’t kill Sasuke or let him die to someone’s hands knowingly because he cared for him so much. When he’s reanimated he literally says he has regrets lmao and in his LN his emotions for his clan and people he was close with go even more in depth. Idk how you can say it makes no sense when almost every part of it ties in perfectly with his character, the story of the series, the history of their clan, the lore, and the other characters involved with the Uchiha. Obviously he traumatized Sasuke and some of that was to be expected, but that is why at the end of his character arc, he himself says he takes all the blame and won’t manipulate Sasuke anymore because all it has done is hurt him more than help. Also if Itachi didn’t kill the Uchiha himself, Danzo would’ve which would’ve only resulted in more bloodshed because his father would actually fight back instead of just letting himself get offed. He didn’t have some type of choice, he made the best of what he could’ve done. If he had used the Kotoamatsukami on the Uchiha, he knew that they would eventually come to quarrels again just like Danzo anticipated and just like the stone tablet said which is something Shisui knew as well.

The books written after Naruto talking about the side characters say Fugaku rivals Minato in power so no itachi could not beat him. Just like Sasuke didn't really beat itachi sound familiar? Also to be honest the anbu is overrated and most of them are trash. Itaci and kikashi were good but it has been said that Sai is a top anbu black ops member and part of danzo's Fondation. If that holds true you really think alot of ninja lower than Sai tier are bearing the Uchiha? If itachi disagreed, and sided with his clan, he already would know the plan, so it wouldn’t be a sneak attack anymore. And itachi needed obito to help too, since obito was the one who killed the police force. And at the end of the day, whichever side won, the leaf village would still be at fault. Some shinobi from the other clan aren’t gonna be okay with carrying out the order of assassinating a clan. Only if the Uchiha fight first. And even then, itachi killing the clan only made it better for the leaf because itachi took the blame. It covers up the fact that the leaf are willing to assasinate a whole clan once they go rouge.

Tbf, out of all the Uchiha, Itachi has probably done the least in bad things. Yes he killed the clan, but it was Obito who summoned the Nine Tails and made it that way for the Uchiha. It was also Madara who pushed Obito to that point, and put those ideas in his head. Madara and Obito are just as responsible in the Uchiha massacre as Itachi. It’s just that Itachi was the one in the front while they were in the back.

Itachi was literally forced into two options: kill his own clan except his brother and save the Uchiha clan from being eradicated or go get wiped out with them. You can't compare him to Hitler. Hitler was antisemetic and did some of the most heinous and gruesome acts in humanity just cause he didn't like a particular set of people. On the contrary Itachis whole philosophy was to become the strongest ninja so that he can bring peace to all. He was never able to become that though cause of Danzo and the leaf village are trash and he got a disease which brought an impending death no matter what.

@@thedarthmalthis is always funny to see which is why i absolutely love debating on itachi. you wouldn’t care about being a great shinobi which is making tough decisions like this if it comes to it and he made that decision for konoha at 13 YEARS OLD lol. it is stated multiple times in the show that in order to be a great shinobi you must put the village first before ALL. that is the flawed system that the ninja world as a whole goes by and if you slight itachi then that means you have to slight the entire world that they live in because that’s what they believe in. he did have a choice, but he chose to kill them instead of them being killed and destroying his home in the process he swore to protect.

Hiruzen even said "I will think the strategy to fight Uchiha" If Itachi didnt kill Uchiha, the leaf would do it. The same result, but more people die including Sasuke. He also said they must kill everyone including innocent little children because if they didnt kill little children, they would take revenge in the future just like Sasuke after learning the truth about Itachi. That's why Hiruzen kept Itachi's truth from Sasuke because Sasuke would definitely take revenge on the leaf village. Hiruzen also said he will think about the strategy to fight Uchiha. You really think if Uchiha and Leaf Village fought, it would not kill little children in that place? If both fight, it would cause more people die. Not to mention if the other nation came in to the village. Itachi killing the clan by himself and saving Sasuke was the best option at that time since Itachi killed his clan just a night before Uchiha launched their attack.

I respect Itachi so much for taking that on basically all by himself besides Obito. I don't think Rob and Pat understand that the Anbu would've wiped the Uchiha out anyway, including Sasuke. Yeah Itachi had an option not to do it but if he didn't, Sasuke would've been killed, I don't think they truly understand that. I do agree with Rob that the Uchiha shouldn't have been the only side with casualties but it is what it is. I think it was for the greater good.
