Itachi and Kisame were my fav duo too 😁 Deidera and Sasori were cool too. You should really react to the filler arcs at some point - typically shows a different side to Naruto :)

the Orochimaru vs Sasori fight is before Orochimaru attacked the hidden leaf village and killed the 3rd hokage... notice his goal was Itachi's body, then he realized the edo tensei was incomplete to take on the Akatsuki and decided to go for Sasuke

You really think deidara is mediocre? There is no one that could actually escape his c4 karura, except if one possess sharingan. Only reason deidara lost is that sasuke is his direct counter. Most people love him because of his mannerism. He is always happy and never got depressed (except if u don't respect his art). Every akatsuki is strong in their own way.
