It was heavily hinted at throughout the manga that Megumi does not care about what gender a person is, meaning he is likely pansexual. While Itadori was not confirmed to be homosexual, there isn’t really a hetero explanation on how he thinks and talks about Megumi throughout the manga. Itafushi is likely canon, however Gege will definitely not be giving them a happy ending. Sometimes I wonder if Akutami made it to where Megumi had feelings for Itadori that Itadori does not have for Megumi, which seems like something Akutami would do.
