That video's one of my favourites. Both the Shaka session and the footage of Aba at Leicester Carnival full of killa dubs

Nothing against this sound personally but this just typifies the rubbish played by modern sound system today. No musicians, no instruments no unique studio sound ,nothing! Just noise! This is a poor substitute for real reggae from the 70s. Maybe its time for modern day sounds to call this type of noise something else because it ain't reggae, roots or dub!

Bless bredrin, been meaning to reply to this comment for a while but haven’t had the time to sit down and reason. I personally would have to disagree, as this is a relick of a legendary dubplate that Jah Shaka used to run since at least before 2004 as seen in many recordings. Because of this I would argue that is in fact as close to raw, heavy steppas dub that you can get - and in terms of your saying no musicians etc, the tune didn’t spawn from nowhere! Players of instruments would have had to be deya! I agree in that this has moved from traditional roots reggae - but music, as with all things, must evolve and develop or there is no moving forward. I personally feel the energy and upliftment from this tune as I’m sure did many others. One love 👊🏾❤️

Agree with most of your comments @reggaemusic6156.. this to me is like some sort of nosebleed techno reggae.. the only uplifting part of it was when the tune finished
