Yikes, Carlo Mollino desks are great, but that's absolutely the wrong room to showcase in, it's almost a study in bad interior design mismatch. Also, what's with being so lazy the veneer isn't even repaired?

well if you repair the veneer you probably knock £5K from it's value ..... glad you'd do it but it doesn't make much financial sense. Don't worry yourself about the room, no one else is.
