We've had people suggest we slow down the pace of the videos. We have a bit, but our philosophy is that it is better to watch a quickly paced video a couple of times, than sit through an interminably long video once. We suggested using the pause button between words if that helps.
Thanks for watching.
=====
We had a question about Thunder and Lightning.
"il Lampo ed il Tuono? Does that RESPECTIVELY (Come si dice "respectively" in Italiano?) mean "thunder and lightning" or is it backwards?"
In California, we've always grouped them as "Thunder and Lightning". In Italian, I've always heard it as "Lampo ed il Tuono". It could be regional. It does seem to make more sense to mention the Lightning first, since it occurs first.
Lamp - Lightning
Tuono - Thunder
respectively - rispettivamente
=====
Fa Caldo - It's Hot
Fa Freddo - It's Cold
Piove - It's Raining
Nevica - It's Snowing
C'e Vento - It's Windy
C'e La Nebbia - It's Foggy
C'e Sole - It's Sunny
C'e Vento - It's Windy

We had to take this down when it had less than 20 views. I made a stupid mistake. When I said, "ha smesso di poivere" I used the word "povere". XD

It's very difficult to get to do something productive. Also, it's very easy and effortless to find fault with it. Of course, the first is way more meritorious. Mi piace la lingua italiana e sto cercando de imparare senza un insegnanti. However, I always get confused with verbs in Spanish (my native language) I'll start formally next year. Your lessons are extremely useful for me so that next year doesn't become so painful at the beginning. So, THANK YOU. I don't really care if you aren't perfect

Grandine (grà ndine). Precipitazioni, le precipitazioni (atmosferiche), al plurale. La precipitazione, al singolare è fare qualcosa di fretta... precipitevolissimevolmente.... Ancora col senso di caduta, la precipitazione/la caduta ma, più comunemente in chimica: la precipitazione di un sale.

Vocabulary is not vocabolario! Vocabolario / dizionario is a book. We say 'vocaboli' for new words. We also say 'c'è il sole' (there is only one) and c'è nebbia (without article because... there is not 'one fog'!)
