Italian Flair! - Reviewing a 2009 Fiat 500 Lounge! - Is it really as good as everyone says it is?

In this review, I have a look around a 2009 Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge! It's a cute car and very much a 21st interpretation of the classic 1950s Fiat 500 that we all know and love today but what do I think of the 2009 500?

I have never driven this car what but I reckon some owners will look forward to driving this car any time, so it can be bad mood booster, so you can say oh no, today goes all wrong I need to have a look on my fiat and you feel better, you start it, its even better and you drive it and its nice rainy day! This car got DNA like Honda Monkey, its just good feeling to have!!

Great intro, very cinematic. Nice informative review. I've already done a video on my 500S TwinAir 105 but not yet gotten around to filming out Lounge TA85. Both cars trade off on equipment and trim and there are things I prefer on each model.

Thanks Mark! There's plenty of info to say on these cars! I really enjoyed my drive in it. It's a similar driving experience to the Panda 1.2 but also somehow different. It's amazing how you have 2 cars which on the outside, an onlooker would go "That's a Fiat 500" but there's a huge amount of variety through the range.

They are a cracking wee car. Loved getting one as a hire car a few years ago (1.2 as well) and it was mighty craic. Maybe one day I’ll pick one up as a side project to my channel.

I very much enjoyed my drive of this one. It brought back some good memories of my Mum's Panda 1.2 Eco as it's fairly similar to drive but also different. They are great cars and not too expensive these days either so you might well have to look at one as a project!

Good video,,,but one or two points that people may not know....There is a secret compartment for hiding slim stuff under the nearside front "glove box" shelf. You showed the under bonnet view but the the brake fluid reservoir is on the right hand side,the one you pointed to was the clutch fluid reservoir.😉...a cool car indeed.

Look at all that mild steel rusting away. Reminds me of the original minis. Oh well, at least its all easy to replace/repair.

Yes, thankfully any problems can easily be rectified here, and we we have some experience with original minis too, so that's helpful!

Just wonder that structure of this car is much stronger than Panda as Panda is in crash folding box, very dangerous.
