Grandma G, I wrote you last year telling you how I never got the opportunity to learn how to cook and bake Italian from my grandma. Then I found you! You filled that gap in my heart. ❤ You cook, bake, sound and actually look just like my grandma! Today I baked the Ricotta Italian Christmas cookies that I learned from you 😅. They are sooooo good! She's exactly how my Nonna was. She passed away in 2018 at the age of 83. I think she would have been the same age as Nonna Gina if she was alive today. She was originally from Sicily and ultimately migrated to CT. Just hearing Nonna Gina talk while cooking brings me a great deal of therapy and joy.
