I’m half Mexican and when my brother was born my dad wanted to name him Trevor, but my mom first wanted to ask my grandfather what he thought of the name. My grandfather jumped out of his seat and ran into the hospital room looking for my mom and exclaimed in broken English “Maria! Whatever you do! Do NOT name that boy!
