RE centre backs, I remember the ECWC run, Ronnie McKinnon broke his leg against Sporting, Colin Jackson got injured so we put a young Derek Johnstone a centre half in the final and did ok. We need to take risks with players, were far too cautious.

Thanks for another insightful video, Derek and Joshua. Just a question about starting times for evening games during the winter months, across the SPFL and with reference to tonight’s game in particular. Why, an 8pm start? Particularly when the visiting fans have a bit of a trek to Dundee and then back again afterwards and when you bear in mind the temperature drop as the evening wears on? Would it not be safer for all concerned, if we had 7.30pm starts? That 30 minute difference would make things easier for all concerned, surely? Or are we really that beholden to the tv companies?

Clement is simply stating facts. C*ltic have better strength in depth due to their budget - it’s common sense. They have the squad to rotate “better” in the league compared to Rangers. My problem with Clement is he takes 80 mins + to make 1 sub when there is 5 subs available to make. He can start the same team more frequently but he has to make subs earlier to freshen up and save energy for future games.
