Italian PM Meloni hails China as crucial player in managing global tensions

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has hailed China as a key player in managing global tensions, during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Ms Meloni says China has an important role to play in addressing growing insecurity on the world stage. She adds that both Italy and China must work together to guarantee peace and stability. Why Italy Meloni suddenly comes to Beijing, China ? My interpretation is Meloni sees her associates counterparts or "comrades" so to speak -- leaders of Germany, France, Britain, EU, NATO --- are inept, incompetent, visionless, gutless etc, and Meloni wants to meet Xi face-to-face and look for new prospect, challenge and opportunity. Agree. I also think she's aware of China capability to grow its allies Nations. The most recent examples are Spain, Hungary and Turkey have received FDI from China to manufacture Chinese's EV while Poland already have operational car plants from China. These countries are part of EU and most are part of NATO, but regardless their conflict, they found a way to benefit each other.
