According to Russian traditions (and in general Slavic) - dear guests should be met "with bread and salt" (s khlebom I sol'yu). This means that the guest was expected and treated very respectfully. And so before we met relatives who had not been seen by their relatives for a very long time.

Thank you for your reaction). Dancing around the fire is an Old Slavic pagan rite, Russia was a pagan country before the adoption of Christianity, so we still have some pagan rituals and holidays, now they are more entertaining and unifying in nature :)

bread in the Serbian tradition is very tasty. This bread in the video is called "Slavski Hleb" and is used in the celebrations of saints "slava" and is present only among Serbs and Vlachs. It used to be widespread everywhere, but because it is a pagan custom, it remained only in Serbia.

Wine is placed on the bread three times on three sides, it is turned three times and in the ritual two or three people turn the bread and drink the wine. In the end, the bread or cake is better, it breaks on three sides.
