That is really ice. Those beams are in great condition. I think wooden floor is a great idea. You could even dig down so that there is good floor space underneath for insulation, and your waste pipes etc in the future. Concrete looks like a lot of heavy work to me.

I do it with pleasure. There are too many people who live one-way social networks, I don't want to look like that type of person because I'm not. As long as I can, I will try to always answer everyone. Kindness is lacking in this world, there are too many people full of their convictions. I prefer an empathic dialogue 🙏

You basically made quesadilla con jamon! Your English is good! It will be nice when you fix all the cracks and leaks , get the place more habitable and warm! What you are doing reminds me of camping but indoors. Good Luck with the great project, I will follow along via You Tube from Naples , Florida!

Hi Randall! I've never been to Florida, maybe one day... 🙏😊 who knows. Thanks for following me on the channel! Yes I have to close all the gaps between the stones, there's a lot of work to do. The problem is that there would be multiple things to do simultaneously...I decided to start from the floor because the stone is really cold, I really need to walk on an isolated and level floor

I’m so happy to see so many people moving to the countryside and the mountains. It really feels like there’s hope to see life again in the most beautiful parts of Italy. Cheers to you my friend for your courage and strength. If you need help with the editing let me know, from afar that’s all I can offer unfortunately.

Unfortunately I can't. Here in Italy there are strict rules regarding historic buildings, including rural buildings. The outside cannot be changed. You can always apply, but in 99% of cases they are rejected. It is not said, however, that I will not try!
@johnwindberg9120

The easiest way to make your floor level is to use cement first because the stones are all shapes ... then put a wooden floor on top when its level
@mywildlifeitalia
@mywildlifeitalia Жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right, that would be the easiest way. The problem is that I don't feel like covering it up permanently, as it's a historical building, so I'll make something up... I'll at least try, although I think I've decided how. Then you will tell me what you think, if you like 🙏😉

@@mywildlifeitaliaCobble Stoning the floor with materials from your land especially if there is a small stream nearby to source small rounded river rock would be nice and fit the cabin or just use a mortar stack to level the wood planks if you go with wood floor. That will allow easy removal later if desired. Good luck and these channels are not about speed, so be comfortable taking your time, plus your English is very good. No need to worry about that.

All talk,no work. What restoration?
@mywildlifeitalia
@mywildlifeitalia Жыл бұрын
You know, I think it goes without saying that it's unthinkable to believe you'll find a trellis or concrete or an uncovered roof in a renovation that's only just beginning. Even more superfluous if this restructuring is done by a single person without large means of livelihood. It's anything but fast, definitely slow and maybe boring at first. Rather than spoken I think you meant written, but perhaps you skipped a bit 'too much otherwise you would have understood better. Have a nice day!
