The proper way of eating south Indian food: You guys must have plate for more traditional taste you guys have to use banana leaf as Plate Place the main dish and Pou sambar and chutneys near main dish For each bites you to dip it in all and eat

God it feels so happy to see Marcello just explode with joy and his giddy actions tasting the dishes. It's sure to fill any heart with pure happiness its such a treat. And on the topic of the ratio of chutney or sambar to dosa, I would recommend as said your instincts but a better way is to see how strong their individual tastes are since sometimes I just drench it in there if I don't feel like tasting the batter or just touch it because the chutney is too strong
