Whats important for you when choosing a commuter bike?

Easy stop&go during stoplight traffic, fuel injected, led lights
@SmallBikeStuff2 ай бұрын
@@notpablo8369 Yup fuel injected would be a big bonus for me too.

Big compartment (at least a half-face helmet) and tall ground clearance that is good enough for potholes. To be specific the honda adv 160 😅.

@@jululugz2893 Funny enough I can't even fit my half face Givi helmet under the ADV 160 for some reason.

The sweet spot would be the 300cc. Not too big, not too small.
@SmallBikeStuff2 ай бұрын
Yeah I do appreciate the 300cc scoots. We only get a couple of options in NZ. A Kymco 300, and the Yamaha XMAX 300.

@@SmallBikeStuff Can you get your hands on a Scomadi or a Royal Alloy?

I used to own the original 180cc 2 stroke dragester, it embarassed a few boy racers off the lights. It had some odd quirks though like not being able to use the electric starter motor when the bike was cold, the wiring was so cheap it just broke off in clumps, hell of a lot of fun while it lasted.

Nice to see you in the comments! Been wondering how it would have compared to the 180. I'm sure the performance of the 180cc 2 Stroke is an entirely different world than this thing. Interesting to see your other notes about it though.

I know this is a bit of a long shot but do you know of any small bike groups in Australia? Specifically Sydney?
@SmallBikeStuffАй бұрын
I don't know of any myself but steve.motoadventures on Instagram has a few Small Bikes in Sydney.

Why not trying kymco trend movie 125 aka gy6 engine?
@SmallBikeStuffАй бұрын
We don't have too many KYMCO's here at the moment. The importer of the brand in New Zealand is very inconsistent.

@@SmallBikeStuff hahahaha Hahaha it's the same in Indonesia because Indonesia doesn't like Kymco

I wonder how parts availability is!
@SmallBikeStuff2 ай бұрын
Seems like normal servicing items are readily available. I've seen a few posts with people talking about suspension changes or other things. It'll be interesting to see if much more is available as time goes on.
