I don't know why a ballad should always be considered less than other songs, but here we're talking about quality and vocality; these girls, who I'm hearing for the first time, seem vocally mature, so a round of applause to them

I tottaly agree! Don't worry cause, people can say what they want BUT ballads will always stand out, like "Duet Vite" for Italy 2023 or even "Amar Pelos Dois" in 2017 with the highest score ever! Yes, these 2 girls are incredible! Thank you Roby!
