Italy, Milan, Metro ride from QT8 to Lampugnano

July 1997 and July 1998 QT8 was the metro station where the Piero Rotta youth hostel is located, which I stayed at one night apiece. I had a bit of a walk towards Lotto to get to the hostel. The QT8 station looks modestly renovated. It used to look very creepy the first two times I had visited Milan alone as an adult (July 1997 and July 1998). The trains back then, almost every one on the M1 linea rossa, would have their compression braking turned on prior to arriving at the next station. Eventually by September 2000, the next time I would visit Milan after graduating from university, also the M2 linea verde from the late 1960s and even the M3 linea gialla from the 1990s did so too.
