If i have to pick between Perugia & Spello, which one do you recommend?

Spello is a small town which can be done within 2 hours. Perugia is a smaller city than other Italian cities with less to do. We would recommend Spello for its character and charm. I hope this helps.

@@chetes_travels i will be traveling to umbria but cant decide whether to stay in perugia or spello. Assisi would be a great option , but unfortunately we dont have car on that day (due to public holiday for entire weekend)

Gosh that's difficult. If you are spending the whole weekend then you will find more to do in Perugia however be mindful on Sunday's most places are closed and it's very quiet. Assisi would be your best option because its beauty trumps both Perugia and Spello if you can.

In order of preference, Assisi, Perugia then Spello because of the amount of time you have.

@@sonnynguyen109 yes. 31 oct - 3 november. Such a bad timing. Most of car rental closed from 31 and will re open on 4th November. 🤣
