Congratulations on such a challenge. Going somewhere alone you've never been to, using nearly all static shots, with most of them including yourself- I never myself had the courage to do such a bold creative exercise. Something that is very inspiring to try! 3:29 and 6:42 are my favorite shots. That's cool you are exploring such a wide format...which also takes guts. I personally have difficulty shooting in the extra-wide format. While it can be amazing for pure landscapes, I find the composition becomes often too hard to balance with a human subject. The frame can so easily feel lopsided and I am easily distracted away from the person with so much vista and extraneous details. However, in these two shots I listed, everything worked especially beautiful and really made a case for the massive width. Im tempted to try again! With all these challenges, I'm sure going back to filming others with a camera in your hands, a subject to direct, camera motion, and the ease of 16:9 would feel like a walk in the park to you. Thank you for sharing this ...and your dog is adorable.
