I think it's so important to be local to a train station and yes the trains are very good in Italy. The sunsets really are so beautiful. The food looked so delicious. It looks like you had a great time. 😊❤

One of our requirements about where to buy in Italy was about train station access and good service coverage. As far as the food, when MIlko is in the mood to cook, his appertivo's are the best.

Watching your videos makes us feel so happy we bought an apartment in Scalea. It truly is the "Unspoiled Italy" Loved the sunset...spectacular 🧡🩷💛 Was wondering if there is a delicatessen in Scalea?...the kind where there is cured meets and cheeses, fresh mozzarella and different anti pasto items like olives Etc. Where they can also make you a panino? Also, is there any bakeries that make fresh bread in Scalea. Would love to see this on your channel. Thanks so much.

Glad you're enjoying it! As for deli's, not really. There are shops that specialize in cured meats, but we've never seen a full service deli.

Lots of bakerys, look for a PANIFICIO. I haven't yet found the source of the really good bread like the restaurants have. Heck, Conad serves really good bread in their cafeteria, but they don't sell it, we asked. If you find any let us know.

@Our Unspoiled Italy thanks so much! Yes, we will definitely let you know if we find a place...in the meantime, when we visit this summer, we will check out Panificio. You guys are great...hope to run into you this summer...we will be staying at our place (on Via Faro) for the first time since we purchased it last summer. Last summer we closed and got the keys...but didn't have time to enjoy. This summer, my hubby and I will be in Scalea for 3 weeks. Thanks for all your great info. Roberta
