The Spaccanapoli District is the original ancient heart of the city, first the Greek city of Neapolis and then the Roman city. It is one part of Naples that you must visit to observe this splendidly chaotic city in its daily-life glory.
Spaccanapoli is officially Via San Biagio dei Librai, though it has a few different names along the way. Spaccanapoli, that literally means “Naples splitter” since it seems to divide the city in two parts, it certainly deserves its UNESCO World Heritage status.

It was nice of you to bring this city to us on video. Naples has always been considered one of the poorest cities in Europe. Riddled with crime and you can see it on the dirty street full of graffiti. Unemployment here is as high as 28 to 40%. In any event, I still like the place because of its history and it's considered the gate way to Southern Italy. You can catch the trains, busses and ferry from Naples. I enjoyed video, thanks.

I liked your video a lot except I did not like all the graffiti on the buildings. I know this has nothing to do with you, but I think the town should do something about this. It really makes the streets cheap and ugly. Something needs to be done. I do look forward for more of your videos.

You know Naples has always been like this. Because of crime and high unemployment it is considered one of the poorest cities in Europe. I have always wondered why the restaurants cannot paint the walls infront of their business. How can someone eat infront of those dirty walls. I don't think they will ever do anything about it. Naples is not far from Rome, it's unbelievable.

OR, we need to educate our next generation to take pride in their cities! Some places are more prone than others! Unfortunately, it has a high unemployment rate and South seems to think it’s not a requirement to pay taxes!

@@estherkisob9919 There are graffiti only in the historic center and in the province, the only areas of Naples that usually frequent tourists. The Neapolitan nightlife in the historic center is very active, you find a lot of people even at 3:00 AM in the middle of the week and, unfortunately, there is no money for daily maintenance.

Dispiace doverti contraddire ma l italia ha la sanità considerata tra le più eccellenti e preparate di tutto il mondo , una sanità non solo preparatissima ma anche e soprattutto gratuita e accessibile a tutti i cittadini italiani ai visitatori stranieri e agli immigrati che arrivano sulle nostre coste. Tutti vengono curati al meglio 24 su 24 . É vero la pandemia ha ucciso molte persone ha riempito all inverosimile gli ospedali é stata molto dura( ma conosci un paese dove non lo é stato)? me é proprio grazie ai nostri medici e alle nostre strutture che ne stiamo uscendo, oggi l italia è uno dei paesi più sicuri con il numero più basso di contagiati da coronavirus... É per questo che dico Grazie sempre alla sanità italiana per quello che ha fatto e quello che fa, spero vivamente che il tuo paese possa avere una sanità all altezza come quella italiana che le ripeto é tra le più preparate e attrezzate al mondo
