Thanks David - another very useful video. I bought one of these recently and found that I need to adjust the locking ring to fit my crown cap iTap. What's frustrated me is the fact that Boel don't supply the required Allen key along with what's a quite expensive iTap accessory - and as far as I can see, they don't even say in the brief instructions what size of Allen key is required. I have a good set of tools, but not a 1.5mm key, so ive just had to order one.

Great to hear, yes the allen key would have been good though.

Considering the price of this addon, I would have expect it to be made of stainless steel. Chrome plated brass is simply the cheapest option like with any beer tap. the chrome plating will come off if left in a low pH environment. One other note is that "Lead-Free brass" does still contain lead, which means that once the chrome plating is compromised, the lead will be free to leach into the drink.

Thanks for the good, quick review. What sort of rack or stand are you using to mount the iTap?

Thanks. It is a table bottle capper that has been repurposed. Nothing expensive but it works well.

Hi David, you dont have to waste so much beer.. When you use the Gtap connector you can close the overflow screw.. its only for bottlefilling..

Thanks, I simply followed the manufacturers directions. Good to know.

I'm using Itap2 with G connector with closed overflow. All the lines are connected permenently to my fridge (kegs, Co2 and waste jar are inside). But I notice that some beer goes in my Co2 line. Maybe it's because my overflow is close during pouring? Just asking? I will give a try with overflow slightly open.
