Sir can you please clarify whether FLAC and FLAC3D are FDM or FVM or both? In FLAC3D documentation you have mentioned that FLAC and FLAC3D are FVM. And in FLAC manual you have mentioned that FLAC is FDM.

Thank you sir, this is a great demo for FLAC3D. It really helps the begineers. Sir can you please provide an option to convert 2D geometry to 3D geometry if multi 2D cross section geometry models in x and y directions of a same 3D geometry model is given. I mean is it possible to integration of all 2d geometric views into a 3D model automatically with a single click

You can import a series of DXF sections as geometry to view them in your project but only extrude a single section to create actual model zones. There is not currently a built-in tool to create model zones from a series of sections. However, if you create a watertight mesh in Rhino3D or another CAD program you could then import this as a DXF into FLAC3D and create zones from this geometry. Sir can you please let us know how to import an excel coordinate points file in to the extrusion pane.

You can import points/nodes, edges, and faces as geometry into FLAC3D (including in the extruder) from DXF, STL, or Itasca Geometry files. You can see the latter format here: bit.ly/3H0vtdX.

Thankyou very much sir. But sir when I'm importing the dxf file it is given an error stating that .dxf doesn't exists. What should I do sir for this error?
