Agreed they rest on Sunday. That week 5 bye was long ago. Nfl needs to adjust their bye schedule. Week 5 too early and 14 too late. Plus a couple weeks in mid-season with no byes..?

The more important record for the Eagles and Barkley to focus on is the Total Season Rushing Record set by Terrell Davis in 1999 of 2,476 Yards Rushing Yards for the combined Regular Season and Playoffs, where the Broncos won the Super Bowl over the Falcons. Barkley needs about 450 Yards in 4 potential Eagles Games if they make it to the Super Bowl which is very doable .. Why don’t Fans and Media focus on this much more important record which reflects both Individual and Team Success

Division winners always are 1-4 in seeds. Loser of Vikings-lions will be #5. Crazy, but true.

It's really not fair to Vikings or lions that they could be the #5 seed after the game. It's too bad NFL doesn't re-seed as playoffs progress.

I was for the rest. From the get go so was Vegas (-3). Another point for rest Barkley for the most part gets his yards in the 2nd half. So what would they have done 60 yards first half and now the starters half to go out for the 2nd ? No chance.

A Big advantage that the Eagles have going into the Playoffs is that they are one of the most if not the most healthiest Teams in all the NFL going into the Playoffs so why jeopardize this very important advantage in a meaningless Game 17 ?

I 100% get the rest part, but if you don't win the SB, now you don't have a ring or the record and that's not fair to Barkley, just my opinion, as an Eagles fan we better win it all or you didn't get the record for nothing!!

Wrong. Most people didn't even know about the rushing record until the last few weeks. Even a chance to win the SB is more important. Like what, they gonna blow up the team and fire the coach because they don't get the record or SB? 😂. Stop it with casual takes. They are an awesome team and have most of their players locked up until 2028.

@JH-lb3kc Yeah we can agree to disagree on this one bro.... And the record only comes up when someone gets close, that's how rare people get close to it, so people who watch football know about it, but it "rarely" is obtainable
