Just discovered your podcast and looking forward to working my way through your episodes. The black and white Saint episodes were a different beast altogether from the colour ones. ST seems to rely more on his wits than his fists in his earlier stories, and the writing was much more thoughtful (imo), which I enjoy.

Thanks Carl - the black and white episodes are certainly more gritty and have darker villains. I enjoy the colour episodes too but I agree the black and white are superior.

Don't know who John Clarin is, but he didn't Play the murderer in the Talented husband, that was Derek Parr. What are these guys talking about?

Actually it was Derek Farr (the actor), his character in the episode is John Clarron. That's what we are talking about!

Madge was played by Pratricia Rock...... i beleive it was her last show before she died, the husband was played by Derreck Farr.
