That was because Seagram's was trying to divest most of PolyGram's non-musical assets. They folded ITC into Universal Pictures and sold its library to Carlton Communications, PLC. while PolyGram's pre-April 1996 film catalog was sold to Orion Pictures.

But the different ITC that was the IBA was bad because they were responsible for choosing Carlton in 1992.

I thought it was the logo collection of the "Independent Television Commission" and his antecessors, "Independent Television Authority" and "Independent Broadcasting Authority" Another question: ITC also distributed programs made by another ITV franchises? (like Thames, Granada, LWT, Yorkshire?)
