I have something similar to that Unitek thing you have, I have two versions one with and one without remote, and I also have the nitro deck, very nice device, but it’s draws power from the switch itself As for the Genki stuff I also plan on getting both shadow casts and the cover dock2 but you should be aware the current windows app has a bug in the system. It gives you video output no problem, but there is no audio output. I had to use a workaround for either using an older app. That is version 1.3, or use my headphones with my switch

I purchased the SNES Nitro Deck and while it looks awesome the shoulder buttons are a bit too clicky and the rumble while adjustable now is not too comfortable, I bought the Zengrip Ronin after and liked that one much more + its dockable which is awesome!

Yeah, it seems it's not for everyone but there's a lot of options out there! Loving the Ronin here too! Not being able to dock it was a big issue for me so now it's near perfect!

The Switch is truly one of those consoles I'll forget about for weeks or even months, then see a video about it and pick it back up for a couple of days or a week, only to forget it exists again xD. Hopefully, their next console is just a bit more powerful because having to play games at 720p with choppy 30FPS in 2024 is a pretty bad experience, even in the handheld console space. Quick edit: Don't get me wrong, I love the Switch and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with it during its prime. It's still something I'll always toss into my bag when heading on a long road trip or vacation.

That's cause it's got such a crazy long life cycle :0 BUT such a crazy good library of games to jump back into!

The Switch boasts one of the best console-exclusive libraries imo, and it has given me two of my all-time favorite games: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Don't get me wrong, I really love the console. I even have two versions-the Pokémon Sword and Shield Lite Switch imported from Japan, and a regular one. I'm just genuinely hoping their next console can build upon the fantastic foundation the original Switch has set!

Maaaan, I love that Blockbuster case, but only a dozen games is way too small. I bought a case a couple of years ago that holds over 100 games and sadly, it doesn't look like I'll ever be replacing that with something cooler looking.

I had my eye on the Optimus Prime REALMZ controller for a while though I never did buy because of the impending new nintendo console on the horizon. Other than that, I really love the Hagibis dial storage game case as well as the Kiwee Master Case. My only gripe with the case is that it looks too small to support the switch with the split pad pro but then again, I can always detach the split pad and put in the main compartment.

The Nitro Deck is pretty close to what I hope the Switch 2's default control setup is like for handheld mode especially with the rumored 8 inch screen, just please don't sacrifice ergonomics and controls for the sake of using the joycons as individual controllers which nobody does anyway again Nintendo!

The Unitek USB switch is about ~23€ and only really usable in the dock. You know whats under 23€ and lets you backup all your games and add it digitally to your system? A modchip lol

Downfall of the Ronin grip. It will not dock if you have a cord in the usbs up front. Seeing how the OLED got rid of the third usb, in the back, there is no way to have a cord plugged in to charge your wireless controller now!

Just an hour ago I realized that because of the game switcher BUT I was able to remove it, plug in a USB at the bottom and then stick it on top with a slight lift! 😔😔😔
