Fair warning, the exam is very difficult as a starting point. As somebody who relentlessly codes and picks up on concepts easily, I thought that it would be a walk in the park.. even referencing this as solely a stepping stool for the OSCP. I finished the Google Cybersecurity Certification on Coursera in two weeks, and spent two weeks watching every Professor Messer video & taking his practice exams as well as this guy Dion’s 6 other practice exams. I wish I would’ve given myself more time because I have no idea how I passed (781). Don’t underestimate the exam

No disrespect but I think you might be giving yourself too much credit if you did all of those things and still found the exam difficult. I've been involved with tech my whole life but im by no means an expert at anything nor do I have any experience past helpdesk and I HATE coding. I passed the exam after a month of studying which consisted of professor messer and also the google cyber security cert on coursera. I didnt find the exam easy or a walk in the park but it was by no means hard and if you have the knowledge you say you have and you actually take to things quickly I just find it hard to believe you would think the exam was difficult...I understand each exam is different but still.

Update, I’m taking the OSCP in 20 days and start an internship with CrowdStrike a week from then. Saying this because people put up trivial barriers on what you can achieve in a short amount of time. With that said, I feel like I was an idiot in this domain 5 months ago, and I’m sure I’ll feel the same about my current status 5 months from now. Took out of loan to get the course, and put ALL of my time outside of college classes towards learning the necessary skills. Best of luck to anybody reading this.
