After watching all of season 1 and now 59 episodes of season 2, I just bought a Honda CB500X. I've never ridden a motorcycle until today. All inspired by Noraly. Now, I can have my own version of Itchy Boots...at the age of 72!

Greetings Boots I worked helping to build roads in Michigan in the '60s and '70s. What you were riding in is called a ditch. Roads have a ditch on either side to carry away water, leaving a relatively dry/firm roadway. And, I understand, you are in 'not' Michigan. I appreciate your grit and sense of humor under grueling conditions. As an adventurer, this is what you signed up for and clearly enjoy as part of the adventure. I believe you are demonstrating a clear metaphor for life - you do the best you can with what you have and it helps to have a plan, a sense of humor, a forgiving, kind, and grateful heart, optimism, and only get hungry when there's food to eat. Your journey also clearly reflects the heart of the Hero's Journey, gratefully accepting help/support along the way. Blessings to you as you continue to live out a travel adventure on our behalf, even though that may not be part of your mission. Thank you.

Amen, Neil! I'm so grateful I found Noraly's channel. Inspiring, amazing - truly, Nat'l Geographic couldn't do better. This journey is even more compelling, imo, especially since it's "live"! It's so cool that fans in the different countries get to enjoy her experience of their neck of the woods. Of course, we Americans are waiting for it to see where she goes...and if we've been there, too. I'm sure I'll learn a lot about my own country!

"Yesterday was the hardest day". Bolivia: "Hold my beer". Noraly, I can't even express how much respect I have for what you are doing. That is super remote landscapes you are riding through in one of the poorest countries in the world! And then in the rainy season. Really hard core. I know that the motorcycle community following you consists of a lot of desktop adventurers and the mansplaining is strong with some of them. But very few of them will ever put themselves through the kind of extreme adventure that you are. They overplan even a weekend trip. Fortunately they are highly outnumbered by all those who thoroughly respect and adore you for what you do. Thanks for taking the time to film and share your adventure. I will think of you every time I am about to chicken out of some sort road. All the love ❤❤❤

@@pennsyltuckyden9823 Wiki says to comment on or explain something to a woman in a condescending, overconfident, and often inaccurate or oversimplified manner". I get my fair share of this. I have travelled further than most motorcyclists I know and still guys will tell me what to bring or how to set up my gear in a very condescending way. I don't mind people's opinions or different views. I love that and feel I can learn all my life. But it is the way it is being served. And I can just see that Noraly despite being more experienced than most, is getting her fair share. Simply because she dares to share her shaky moments. Something that takes a lot more courage, because she exposes herself to all those who think they know better. I hope that made sense :)
