In this episode I am riding mostly offroad in Honduras, to reach a place I want to visit with caves. After an amazing ride, just before I reach the town, I encounter a dangerous trap. I can't believe people do this.

I had exactly that thought while watching. Noraly manages to do solo what I'd expect from a full professional tv broadcast unit. Why she's not attracting major sponsorship and film backing is beyond me,her adventures are another level up from the norm on tv. May she stay safe and include us in her adventures for a long time to come.

@@jimbo32234 I've crossed them in Mexico, but they were large diameter ropes lying on the ground. They put the "tapas or topos" across the road to make you slow down. Usually just trying to sell you something, or when entering a little town & they don't want tourists speeding. I wouldn't rule out nefarious intent, though.

Friend.....actively and deliberately trying to tear travellers' heads off whilst visiting and providing business to local industries simply IS NOT anything even remotely approaching a 'warm' gesture. There is a very simple phrase for it: Attempted murder. I am shocked to the core to have witnessed an act that was last used, and perfected, by Nazi militia. I can safely say that any curiosity or keenness to ever visit or even carry on watching Noraly's adventures in this country have just disappeared. The only reason this young lady is still alive is down to pure luck. How many were not so lucky and offered this murderer the chance to ply his vile trade in innocent human life for his gain. Pure evil. You are welcome to him and his ilk. I hope Noraly leaves the place as swiftly as possible. Honduras has left a lasting memory that I am keen to forget. Utterly disgusting.

When I just saw it in time and stopped two teenage girls came out of the garage and laughed at me. It was their idea of a joke. So these things can happen anywhere, even in the UK!

As someone that wont visit you country I would lend you the perspective that despite all the good people, it's not them that we're afraid of. Despite some misconceptions, there are in fact dangers. If good people being present was all it took to be safe then there wouldnt be a problem but thats not how it works. 99.9% of your population could be genuine good caring people but thats not going to stop the bad people from doing their evil and there are bad people there doing evil. There are comments for this video from people that live in honduras and have had loved ones killed in attacks. If you have a good life there I am truly happy for you. I'm just not gonna risk my safety as a foreigner knowing the actual dangers and not having a lifetime of experience there to know how to avoid them. I suspect thats a part of why you think it's better than it might actually be. You know how to stay safe there but we dont and that makes us more vulnerable.

La Ceiba is not really dangerous at all. They say SPS is bad, but I've been fucked up drunk in nightclubs and on the street there and never felt threatened. Nobody bothers you , armed guards everywhere and people for the most part are kind and friendly. You just have to watch certain neighborhoods. The police are worse than the gangs a lot of times, and I've been treated a lot better by criminals than I have by law enforcement while visiting. Money can buy anything there, especially your life if it comes to that. All that said, you better know what you're doing if you go to that country, because bad shit is known to happen.
