Thanks to the kindness of an Icelandic businessman whose place I was inspecting, I visited Gullfoss about 15-20 years ago. He also took me to see a few other sights in western Iceland. The apparent colour of the water was an interesting yellow/gold when the light was right, which I think is how the waterfall got its name. Iceland is certainly worth a visit.

Iceland looks simply amazing.I loved the clip of you lining up with all the GS riders!! No need for 1200cc! My Dad was a sailor and told me the best cure for seasickness was to eat a little and then have a snooze. It worked for me on the crossing to Dublin once. So glad you're exploring again. This is very magnificent to see how the glaciers has scrapped and shaped the beautiful Iceland terrain. Also it is hard to forget the gift of enlightenment that you instill about geothermal activity which go hand in hand with major earth movements (volcanic activity or vault line as a result of plate tectonic movements )....
