State's control their people through fear and propaganda, through tools like the Mainstream Indoctrination Media (MIM), which trains the masses' brains to hate other cultures. Once you learn this, you practise free will, love and respect for others.

Thank you, itchy boots, for showing Iraq in a positive light. Many foreigners think that the war is still ongoing in Iraq, but in reality the war ended in 2017 and Iraq is in a state of continuous development. Iraq is a multi-religious country and has many Yazidis, Christians and Muslims. I agree with you, checkpoints are annoying for foreigners. But the government is working to reduce checkpoints and tourism in Iraq increased in 2023. Thank you. I hope you have a successful trip. 🇮🇶❤

I have friends both from Iran and Iraq. The hospitality is amazing (and Iranian desserts are too) and they say that everyone wants to make sure that nothing happens to you when travelling. But they also say that I would be treated different than a local woman. As a local I wouldn't be allowed to attend gatherings, drive around like that and so on 😔 At least Iran is on my bucket list (recommended by my friend) but right now I am quite tired of all countries with regular check points. To me its an exhausting waste of time. So, bravo to Noraly enduring all that 👏🏻

It is sad to see that, just like so many other places, old traditions and craftsmanship is under attack. Love to see those old guys hand crafting whatever it is they make. And continuing to give us the tour of humanity. We have now a Itchyboots watch club here. Bagdad is a clash of modern day amenities and old world ways. It struck me that Bagdad suffers smog/air quality issues. It was most apparent while being on the Ferris Wheel. Noraly is the anomaly that brings out the best in people. As an American male, I had once wanted to travel the Middle East on moto and see the great wonders of religious history all around the Mediterranean. Today, at 70years, I get to do this with Noraly, no better tour guide. She takes the uncommon road and seeks places I as an American male could never travel to. For this, I'm a fan of her travels and wish the best of all outcomes.

To travel is to see, to learn, to tell tales to so many people, inspire and awaken minds. Thanks for breaking new unbreakable ground and taking us there, most of us would never know all this. Very sad how some propaganda and military campaigns that happen go to foreign lands to destroy all good things the world should instead know about.

Excellent episode! I love seeing the culture of Iraq and the people as they go about their daily lives. So great you had Aya to guide you. It must be nice to have someone speaking English so you can ask questions and understand what is happening around you as you explore the inner city. Thanks again for another exciting episode, Noraly! I love your show. Now I need to also go back and watch the seasons I've missed. What an adventure! You are a brave woman. Bravo!

Mohamed is riding an MZ ETZ250. I owned one those in the 80's back the UK. A quirky looking thing, but a great bike in its own right, capable of handling great abuse. Great videos Noraly! Thank you!

Moral, your travels are an amazing way to educate us about those countries we only hear bad things about. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. I'm jealous! I have learned to appreciate other cultures, especially their hospitality and their food! Thanks again, and God bless and keep you safe!

According to some reports, Chinese came in very soon after the war to re-pave the roads & streets & re-build some mosques. Also helped to get oil pumping again. Inexpensive Chinese goods help bring down inflation so Iraqi people have affordable living. Thanks for this lovely tour with wonderful guide. Little Chinese Everywhere passed through part of Iraq five years or so ago, staying in the countryside, showing Iraqis enjoying their natural waterfalls. I shed tears of happiness then, to see Iraqi people at peace. I'm equally gratified today, seeing Baghdad thriving. Humanity prevails! Thank you!

This was a chilling and reassuring video. Well deserved after all the recent "episodes of stress" 😀 I liked and enjoyed very much the sightseeing tour. These indeed are sceneries that somehow do not exist in the common media. Maybe in a special but still rare. Thanx for showing us.

Such an nice lady Asha...so grounded, Empathic, humorstic and very kind... Beautiful video dear Noraly to show us the nice common Iraqi People. And how I like the handmade from iron or tin...it all looks sooooo authentic, with ancient vibe...just beautiful.🎉🎉🎉🎉 How the Iraqi people prefer the goods from China and India it is unbelievable...they prefer quantity above quality 😂😂😂😂. I hope they all come to their senses 😅😅😅😊 Very relaxt video without no stress an afraidness....just enjoying the sightseeing of the City Baghdad🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I am from Iran, and this is absolutely incredible to see Noraly freely walking in Baghdad’s streets without a “Hijab” but yet has to wear a Hijab when she’s in Iran, we are not even “Arab” and The religion of Islam was shoved into our throats by Arabs 1400 years ago and now we seem more serious about Islamic rules than Arabs themselves, this is absolutely so unfair to Iranian women.

Baghdad ! It’s so easy to forget that with all the political/religious fighting going on right now that cultures and populations are just going about their daily lives. Your videos always show things from a COMPLETELY CENTRAL viewpoint. Well done AGAIN, Noraly. Baghdad would not be on my travel destinations but these various views indicate differences, most people are just trying to live their best lives based on their culture. Brave woman you are…❤❤❤Rick

Noraly such an impressive scene selection in showing us Baghdad. Nice to see Aya and big thumbs up Aya for guiding Noraly. Love the handmade craftsmanship of those items. Very Interesting they have same challenges as US with Chinese imports. Very wise decision to not do a temporary fix on the wiring. Not necessary to risk a mistake or the time involved to deal with it. Final goodbye to Mohammed the legend. Ride Safe. Peace! ❤❤❤

Wonderful contently so wonderfully done . . . so important to remember that all of the destructive wars throughout this region are waged by religious zealots and NOT the good people of Irag - just like the good people one can meet around the world who would chose to live in peace, just a you do, Noraly!
