Itehil Portable Water Purifier: Unboxing, Assembly, Features, and I Drink Rain Water Off My Fire Pit

Yep, you read that title right. In this video, I'm going to share the Itehil Portable Water Purification system. This system is interesting because for me, as someone who goes Overlanding and takes long trips away from civilization, having an all in one way to clean and purify natural water sources is a powerful tool that can extend your trips. Or, if you're into survival and/or prepping, this may be something you'd be interested in also.
In the video, I'm going to unbox the unit, show you everything that comes with it, assemble it step by step, and then use it to purify some rain water that was in my fire pit cover so that I can drink it.

Gotta say, I love this kind of stuff. I tend to buy everything from backpacking water filters to overlanding water filters. But, when it comes to being prepared....water is pretty important.

Yeah, it's not the smallest, but most comparable ones are bigger and/or require separate power sources, so for an all in one unit, it's got a lot of pros! I won't take it on weekend trips, but for longer term trips, it should be pretty nice to be able to easily refill water containers without finding a town, :D.

I would say I do like the filtering system, but honestly, I would like to see a switch for filtered water or unfiltered water or if you want to do both at the same time You know a selector switch Also for the unfiltered hose I would like to see it maybe with a different color and on the end of the hose a tag saying not drinking water 😊

Makes sense. They seemed pretty self explanatory to me, but more obvious "tubes" is never a bad thing, :D.

I am a Japanese user who uses the machine since March 26 2024. Its battery was out of power a couple of hours after the first use. Then I tried charge but red (or orange) indicator showed steady lighting and blinck alternatively. Coud you someone teach me whether it is normal phenominon or something wrong?

I would reach out to Itehil. My experience with them has been great and that sounds like a potential warranty issue.
