Great interview. Glad VB Dace is bringing convenient and safe cooking ware. Glad they are not making Teflon coated ware.Heating Teflon pans over 500°C causes the release of toxic gases harmful to health. Hence Teflon is better avoided in cookware.

As a lazy cook, there is one pet peeve i would like to point out. Rivets. While rivets give excellent strength, they are a pain to clean. I wish VB Dace, makes rivet-less or at least flush-rivet cooking pots. I am specifically talking about their sauce pans. Their kadais have welded ears. My request to VB dace team is to ensure that everything they make has welded ears.

Hi VB, I have a concern on steam rice cooking vessels, You showed that just by using the thumb we can hold the lid and to remove the excess of water in steam rice. but in this case the hot air from steamed water will hurt the user or in accidental case they may have got any injure in thumb, so in this case they have trouble in holding the lid. why don't you prefer the locking system in that product eg: clip or rotate lock system. because of this it will be a user friendly one. This is one of my suggestion. and you interview was awesome, we wish you for more innovative things for peoples and thanks

Mr. Bhat May I know in your website in product specificaiton there is no mention on what material its made cast iron , tri-ply .... this info very important for any product. Be aware your product is so expensive when you dont mention something fishy there. Also you have to focus on look also.. Plastic handles doesnt look good & shape of kadai also is not the same as you use in your kitchen which appears to be impressive. Plastic handles maintence & cleaning also is a concern.

Sandwich bottom always burn the contents. Only triply or multiply bottom give even heat and when cooked in medium heat, it won’t burn the food. I am not a big fan of sandwich bottom, especially for milk.
