The thing about Catalyst I love is that in a pinch she's excellent. The only thing I wish they didn't do to her is nerf her & then give her the pre-nerfs to her as the perks - but she's still my main so I don't mind! Also I love her quips, lol

I think the problem with people saying Catalyst is bad when compared to the AGLS pickrates is the skill gap. The best of the best can utilize any character's abilities in ways the majority of us wouldn't even have a fever dream of. Saying any given character is bad needs to take into account our ability in this game as a whole.

Oh hey, it's me, the one who always comments that cat is useless. And she is. I love her, she's my favourite legend, but she's absolutely useless, and every season they nerf her more. "Why do they use her in algs then" because pro games are different. Completely different. They use her purely for her ult in the really small final rings, and presumably for her passive. Her spikes are useless, and her ult does nothing unless the ring is so small you can section it off effectively. Pros using her does not say anything about ranked or pub ability, and she is one of the weakest legends right now. She desperately needs to be reverted to launch, and then buffed accordingly. Some of the nerfs can stay because they didn't do much, but ideally they would be reverted. As usual, her only *useful* skill is her passive, and people constantly misunderstand her, say she's better than she is, and get her incorrectly nerfed. Respawn are also stupid for constantly nerfing spikes and ult when neither are EVER useful, just making her less fun to play. So yeah. She's weak, really weak. I'm happy she has a place in algs a bit though, since she at least gets *some* love. But that does also mean she is an even bigger target for completely unnecessary and worthless nerfs. I don't expect you to ever understand this, but I hope one day she gets the rightful love she deserves.
