Iteso in Tororo intensify demand for separate district

A meeting called by the electoral commission chairperson Justice Simon Byamukama in Tororo county in which it sought to persuade residents to participate in the forthcoming by elections for the district chairperson ended prematurely. Byamukama and a number of commissioners were confronted by man who ate live rat as they looked on. The Tororo county residents are demanding for a district that comprises Tororo Municipality complaining that they are marginalized by the Japadhola on matters of service delivery.
The EC is organizing elections for the district LCV chairperson following the death of Apollo Jaramogi.
