Funny how he waits to tell her about living with his parents as a “surprise “. That’s not a surprise that should be a reason to sue for marriage fraud. No way does she owe him money a drunk driver hit HER. She didn’t choose this at all.

Did Kevin ever hear about the couple that got married the day the groom proposed? It was really sweet; dude listen to her go on about her dream wedding, TOOK NOTES, put everything together, proposed, and they married as soon as she said, "Yes!" It was the happiest day of her life. True story.

Right?! It's not like her injury meant she had to be on a special diet. When I was in the hospital and rehab for my hip surgery in my 30s, I didn't have to eat a special diet either as I had no dietary restrictions. There's nothing wrong with bringing food into the hospital. It's no different from bringing in a box of chocolate as a gift

So it's okay for Kevin to leave Bethany when she temporarily loses the use of her legs. But years when she gained back the use of her legs, Kevin made himself wheelchair bound due to his drink driving and had the gull to ask Bethany to marry him after the stunt he pulled and she's engaged to be married to another person.

People who have a disability are the same persons they were before the disability occurred. Those who think the person has gone through a "sea change" and become something socially unacceptable have the real problem, not the disabled person.

Girl thank the heaven above you didn't marry Kevin... that accident saved your life.. "in sickness and in health" is in the wedding vows... kevin already failed this part of the vows before he even took the vow.. he would've made an absolute horrible husband..why would she have to pay him? I'm confused.

Listening- the positive is his true nature came out before marriage. I am hoping the character can walk again. Spinal/nerve pain is horrible. I have had spinal fusions, chronic pain every day since. I am always hoping for pain, nerves being asleep or worse to be a thing of the past one day. Got to give hope. This new friend may have been the key to perk her up. (yes I know it is sometimes just a story) but this happens in real life so I am always rooting for people to get better. I speculate the future will solve many issues for people and not be so costly that they can't even do a treatment. I have been researching that plasma thing some docs do prp or something to regenerate cells or something. Anyways What??! She just basically proposed?? Wowser!!!! So cute!

For everyone saying its 'drunk driving', its not everywhere. In Australia, it's 'drink driving', as in any amount of alcohol is unacceptable. The concept of 'drunk driving' implies impairment which leaves room for subjectiveness on the part of the driver. They can complain they weren't drunk.
@darkamora51233 ай бұрын
Except that isn't true. Different parts of the UK have different standards, but a conviction for drink driving is defined as having a BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) of at least 0.08% in England or 0.05% in Scotland. Those are the legal guidelines to define what "drunk" is. Add that Driving is a gerund (a noun in practice) and thus needs an adjective to modify it, drink, is either a verb or a noun. So, that is just grammatically incorrect regardless of common usage. The term we'd use in the US that is closer to the commonwealth's usage would be "drinking and driving". For a group that "invented the language" and the "noun is modified by an adjective" rule, that is just an awful usage.

Kevin has always been about self and self only .The 1st clue was her having to do all the wedding preparations by herself.. that was a look into what marriage would entail with Kevin.. he would've left everything for her to do. he's selfish and only cares about himself and what makes him happy.. it's all about kevin. he couldn't care any less what other's want or need.. he would've made a shytty husband and an even shyttier father. the irony of his parent's not wanting to take care of him is so funny.. the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Idk how I feel about the happy ending being her being cured of her disability. People in wheelchairs can have happy endings too. Also her ex being "punished" with becoming disabled. Your moral character doesn't decide if you're disabled or not.

Women think things like the venue is important, while generally the only thing men care about in a wedding is to have chosen the right bride to marry! Besides; 99 times out of 100, when men gets involved, it's what the bride wants when it comes to cake, flowers, color palet, venue, etc anyways, and we don't have any say in anything other than who's gonna be the "Best man", and sometimes not even that! Might as well opt out of pretending to have any say in the wedding at all! Ask us to contact someone and order stuff; fine! But since women in general doesn't want our opinion anyways, then don't expect us to take part in something where we can't do anything other than agree or start a fight over a stupid cake! "I want black forest cake" "well, I want spring lemon sponge cake, with raspberry formage, a vanilla strawberry cream filling and marsipan covering" or whatever... We can do stuff, but when you don't really want our opinion, don't ask us to sit down to decide things...
