This is the best story I’ve heard so far!!!! Loved it and totally knew Ed was in love when he was so adamant about her not being his sister.

I can't stand it when these VAs try to do children voices. They always sound like those annoying high pitched, over the top cartoon voices.

"You STOLE OUR DAUGHTER FROM US!" ... No SKANK. You THREW HER OUT after trying to ignore her existence. Why couldn't these "parents" have been " lost" during a police shootout..?

She told her MIL, "You don't have to apologize," while wanting apologies & such from her husband. That's weird.

She should've divorced him as soon as she found out he was stealing from her & lying to her. IMMEDIATE DIVORCE.

Oh, I love this story. I am so happy that someone saw more than her birthmark. I can relate with the exception of the birthmark. I wasn't a pretty little girl, and my Mom did treat me differently from my brother. She loved him with all her heart. It wasn't until I grew up she changed somewhat. I was able to keep my appearance up, and I moved and bought my first house. Later in life, I married. So I am happy for her and wish her the best.

A birthmark is not that big of a deal. There is no excuse for abusing your child just because they look different. Her family is a disgrace. And Helen, I think Eddie likes you ☺️

From experience growing up with an abused mother, her leaving was the BEST thing she ever did because had she not followed my Dad to California where he was being stationed in the Navy none of my siblings or I would have been born. She was the oldest of 9 and was pretty much servitude to the family. Relatives have grown up with their heads up their asses and entitled and still don't feel my Mom is worth her salt. Losing her 8 years ago was and still is the one of the darkest moments of my life because it was there I cut ties to majority of those relatives. So while this is fiction this DOES happen. Get out. Stay out. Live for yourself. It will be hard at first but you WILL overcome because if you survived the mistreatment, you can survive anything!

I have a similar condition. My birthmark is dark brown. It covers half of my lower chin neck and upper back. I was called two face based off of batman when I was a kid in the 80's. People are cruel. But I got the last laugh I'm 42 and I still look like my late 20's.

One time for the people in the back, when they are grown a person DOES NOT have to pay their parents for raising them until they are 18. That is the choice you make when you have a child. And parents always prefer one sibling over the other, that is SO not true, there are many of us that love ALL of our children equally.

@JoshuaMaupin13 сағат бұрын
They didn't even do the minimum - they never even fed the poor girl! Or bought her new clothes! I doubt they even spent $5k all 18 years.

Yeah, I see that she is more of an adopted grandmother than a real one. To have so much love to give to a stranger is a blessing. Her son and grandson were also great to welcome her into their home after her sorry excuses for parents threw her out.

What horrible parents and brother. They are entitled and abusive as well as dismissive. Remember, how they destroyed and abandoned their daughter. Don’t be surprised, when she turns her back at all of you. Nana adopted you when you were 6, just a baby. She took care of you all those years and finally at 18, she decided to take care of you and give you the best life. What a wise and wonderful woman. To think you became real family. You have a wonderful husband. Wish both a happy life with many blessings and wonderful life. ♥️♥️🥰🥰🥰

Ellie, having a child in a messed up marriage won't bring you closer. As proof he doesn't touch you, but he's cheating on you. Have fun paying alimony compensation and restitution to Ellie, Richard. Sue his affair partner Linda too, she knew he was married. LMFAO so then she cheats with Brad and Tim. Typical She doesn't even know who the baby daddy is. Rob, Tim or Brad

I do have to say, a child doesn't fix problems, so I do agree with him there. I don't know if I like the whole "you don't want to have a child with me so you must be cheating" trope.
