Edit from the future: Wow. I look so sloppy.
I made steps to Umbral Ultimatum by Toby "Radiation" Fox from Homestuck! I wanted to play it while in my John cosplay/costume/thing. The steps on the side are from my computer--not me playing there. I got like 77% on it. I need to get better.

For me, yes the metal pads make a huge difference. They move a lot less. And also, arguments aside, the bar does make a big difference too. It keeps your body from moving a lot which saves a lot of energy.

@Ifer30 Well first off it's an ITG machine; you can't put custom song onto a DDR machine. And the easiest way is to just put songs onto a flash drive(as long as your local machine has the right update), and play them from there. There are detailed instructions how to do that around on the internet. If you want to actually want to put songs, themes, course, and whatnot onto the machine, you have to know linux. I don't know how to hack a machine though.
