I literally can't watch past "You can't install apps"! You can ABSOLUTELY install Android and Linux apps! And while installing Linux apps might not be SUPER beginner friendly, you're either mistaken or outright lying!

Our channel is primarily aimed at business owners, who don’t really have a use for Linux apps. When most people think of apps they think of Photoshop or MS Outlook. I understand your point, but we’re not in the business of recommending people spin up Linux instances on chrome for production use in a small business (and most android apps are pretty average experience on chrome)

@@itGenius_ Then say that! Be clear about its capabilities! Chrome doesn't have Photoshop and doesn't have a native Outlook client! If you need that, or any of the many Windows only or MacOS or apps, this ain't it! It's simple!

I have the same question. I want to use a Chromebook the same way. I use my Android with Google mic. I don't want to have a keyboard attached in order to look up movies or TV shows and I want to be able to stream without typing anything in. So same question, does a Chromebook have Google mic?

I am not good with computers but have a pretty good handle on my Android device. I am able to do my taxes, shop, web browse, etc. But it is too small to watch movies and also I stink at keyboarding If I get a Chromebook can I all of that as well as subscribe to Netflix or some other streaming? And also can I talk to it rather than keyboard?

you can do everyting on chromebooks afer all they have standard pc software and if you want gaming get a dock with buld in gpu and tada

No. Everything is proprietary and forces you to use Google Equivalents to Microsoft Office Apps. Also, Steam does not work as well as many other apps that are just outright not compatible. I'm using a Chromebook to type this and I wholeheartedly do not see the point of getting a Chromebook versus a laptop.

I just bought a Chromebook to study for my CCNA and I can't even download the flashcard app my instructor recommended or packet tracer. I think I want to install Linux & get tud if yhe Chromebook OS. Do you think that's a good idea?
