This is such an underrated game, more people should be talking about this game, and that heartwarming ending is definitely a reward for all the trial and error

It means that the test subject was trained to overcome the difficulties to be able to heal a sick body. The imperfections in the body represents the obstacles throughout the game, I guess.

@@sud1881 It is trained throughout the game to be able to do this. This is just a game, it doesn't need further explanation, in another game a t-rex could fly for example.
