At 8:20 John's face when Cariless says that "sinking a Leviathan hunter ship is a big ordeal"... Leviathans can't sink those ships so a Tier 0 crew shouldn't be either. Havent watched this episode yet we'll see..

Just finished watching the Justice League Teen Titans movie then came here to watch this. Anne all of a sudden looks like Raven from the comics, lol. There's a random observation.

I've been trying to find a alternate roll players for Critical Role and this is the best I've found so far. There is also this guys called Schmucks Squad, their good but they don"t have their shit together. Happy to finally find some real role players

How does John and the gang get the dynamic rolling screens? Like the ones with attune written on them?

TasteThese Rolls JP is doing that, the guy that hosts the show behind the scenes.

Who knows if anyone will read this as I’m 6 years late, but had I been playing, I would have suggested using the ship’s instruments to remove her blood and leave her lifeless, bloodless body on board somewhere interesting Edit was for grammar and spelling

Seems like there is way too much advance planning for the mission. I would just start the score based on how I understand the general guidelines for running this game.
@gkwgeek45096 жыл бұрын
I guess the point is let the players (and GM) continue as long as the planning is towards the vector of attack, and there's fun in it, when it comes to the whytos and wherefors is when you make the cut to the score.
@BoojumFed3 жыл бұрын
To be fair, most of that advance planning was just deciding whether they were going to be doing Stealth or Deception score.

One of my favorite parts of this system is the planning through flashbacks. I think the game was still super new when these vids were made. I think this planning woulda been cut off much more quickly now and straight to an engagement roll. Still a pleasure to watch John GM his own game!

Thanks for this series I stopped watching for a while after mirrorshades and swan song ended.

I like this show but the system seems way too video gameish, instead of role playing the interactions and then rolling the dice to see if they were convincing enough to get the NPCs to help, they basically click a Bethesda menu that says "Try to acquire whiskey in secrecy. [Chance, 65%]"

I still prefer the d&d 2.5e and ad&d series, but this one isn't so bad. Sure the game side of it is still sorta casual, but the RP side is pretty cool.

God John constantly makes sounds like he's constipated... it's endless and consistent :/ Really good at GMing tho

It's not as bad as wheat's stupid accent. This is the third or fourth time he's made his character sound like a retarded Irishman.
