Praise abort, ach so gern, Knebel, ich hasse Kinder , Schlaf gut, wer weiss das schon. My favorites. Also the collaborations with Zaz (Le Jardin des larmes), David Garrett (alle Tage ist kein Sonntag), Sharleen spiteri (stirb nicht vor mir) . Some Lindemann Songs are a lot more twisted and extreme, others are soft but beautiful ballads.

Aha, I thought we might see a live performance (Eng. translation sub) of Wiener Blut today! Excellent. I love this version too. They all go in so heavy. And Till really plays heavy into the role of the monster, really embodies him in this song. (btw did you mean that he speaks as the captor, not the captive victim? or I have misunderstood something?) I think this song and Live performance are incredible. The line "I will hold you in the darkness" always gets to me, chills me, the seemingly oh-so simple and innocent meaning in those words, when lacking the context. I see it in different ways such as: as the twisted 'father' in this story and in one of the ways it can be perceived, even spoken out loud perhaps, in the world outside the Hell (or twisted "love nest") he created; if a parent said their child was in a bad place but that wherever they were and whatever they were going through and whatever troubles, that they "would hold them in the darkness", that could easily be interpreted or understood as meaning they would be there for their child, that they would hold them and comfort them physically, but also metaphorically, like helping them through the distress of difficult times. But then with the context, knowing who and what this is about we see the other double meaning: "I will hold you, in the darkness" as in to literally physically have his arms around her, holding her, in darkness. But also holding her in the darkness as in hold you in darkness in the sense of holding her captive in the dark, detaining her in darkness (literally and figuratively) Even just that single line says so much. Also, I need to go through your uploads because I know I've missed a bunch of your R+ reactions - or perhaps there's some you haven't done yet? I also recommend checking some of their official "making of" some of their music videos I know this is getting too long but regarding Till's non R+ music and lyrics - First there are 2 separate 'solo projects': "Lindemann" in which he teamed up with (I'm going to spell this wrong sorry) Peter Tagtgren and they released 2 albums, "skills in pills" which is mostly/all in English, and "F&M" in German. They also released a Live DVD from one of the Russian tour dates (before Russia's war Ukraine invasion) Then there is "Till Lindemann" which is just Till's work, and quite an eclectic mix! Of Lindemann I recommend checking out/starting with the official MV's for "Steh Auf!", "Praise Abort", "Ach so Gern" & "Knebel", also "Yukon", though I don't think there's a video for that one, oh and also "Platz Eins" and "Mathematik", they both have official videos that are worth watching. I'd recommend the music vids too, to start off with Of Till Lindemann, check out "Alle Tage ist Kein Sontag" (with David Garrett iirc), it'd be interesting to see other people's interpretations of the visuals, and "Ich Hasse Kinder" is a must - there's an official music video, and also a short film (~ 20 minutes) of the same name. Last but not least have you seen the cover of David Bowie's Heroes by Apocalyptica ft Till Lindemann? It is called "Helden", definitely need to look at it if you haven't before.

The line when you walk through the valley of shadows is also reminiscent of Psalm 23 - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. About walking through like with God by your side when you have no other companion. Rammstein are ardent atheists, and something about the reference to something that is supposed to be a comfort to people but that they do not believe in - I can't quite put it into words but it somehow puts a point on the despair and horror of the situation.

Yo Estian, love all the Rammstein vids as always! There are still a few songs you have yet to react to actually! One of them is "Mehr", there is a lyric video out there on the channel "Skrewtony". There are also the songs; "Liese", "Ein Lied" , "Eisenmann(which is an unreleased song)", "Mein Land(unless that one was blocked)" "Schwarzes Glas(also unreleased song on Skrewtony channel)". I think those are the songs you are missing 100% And even after all those + 2.0 you have aaaall of Lindemanns stuff, so there is still a lot of Till's genius lyrics to decypher which I think you do a great job at! Edit: turns out you are missing Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen sehen aswell. Im sure you will find time for that too!

@@ITN_Global Have you done Roter Sand? I cannot recall, but Liese (Leise? Liese?) is an alternative lyrics but the music is the music of Roter Sand. Ugh, having a rough time with my health last few days and "I can't seam tooo word gud 2day!" [sic] sorry lol! Still a comment is a comment I guess, right?! With the recent few particularly dark R+ songs react/review have you looked at or re viewed "Klavier" with eng. lyrics/subtitles? Also have you (re)looked at Puppe, both studio version and Live? If there's a Live version from the 2022 tour with Eng. translation that's pretty epic! Being there in person, it literally looks like a huge swarm of black flies or something, it's insane. Tattoo Live 2019 with eng.subs is great too, not dark like some, but pretty heavy and fun

Hi ITN, just dropped in and found your new reaction. I like your Rammstein reactions, btw... ;) Well, there is something I wanted to say to this verse "Und wanderst du im tiefen Tal" (etc.). It´s not another songtext, but from the bible (Psalm 23.4): "And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me." It´s creepy to let the father say something like this, but it matches his longing to be allmighty very well, I think. Ah, and it´s like "Flak" like in "car" and the "e" is pronounced like the e in "BodybuildEr". Greetings from Germany!
