Ideally you want the blade of your stick closer to your skates and elbow up. Research Connor Bedard wrist shot… he’s got a textbook wrist shot form, nobody better.

Matvei Michkov…. Bedard has a heavy shot and isn’t as deceptive like Stamkos/Ovechkin but Michkov has a very quick release and very deceptive like Matthews/Crosby… Michkov also has a wicked backhand like Crosby… Bedard is very very good but if your talking about pure shooting Michkov is as good if not better then Bedard… Michkov isn’t as complete as bedard but if we’re just talking about shooting Michkov is definitely as good if not better.

yes! I think I was positioning my TOP hand under my chin. This makes a lot of sense, as the goal is to put maximum torsion on your stick!

you know the only thing I've ever known how to do with a stick is play drums. so I just went out and recently bought me a hockey stick because I've been watching this channel, and right off the gate I'm slinging 65 mile an hour wrist shots across my backyard, and 75 mph slap shots. I guess my biggest setback is using my whole arm to do wrist shots and instead of the hand that is on the butt and of my stick.

My first year playing, keeping your top arm out and stick Handle with top elbow out helps a shit ton. Went from dogshit to decently good in a few months. I score around 1-2 goals per game now (17 rn)

Do this, shoot like you’re pulling the stick handle hard behind you and your bottom hand flipping the other end of the stick over fast, lots of power. And forget about snapping and loading buzzwords, it’s about flipping the stick around your waist as hard as you can
