Hey ! Welcome to Aurora's Queendom... you should definitely check out her most beautiful concert : Live at Nidarosdomen ! 58 minutes of pure magic. I'm sure you'll fall in love with everything you'll see and hear. You can practically react to each and every of the 12 songs she performs there, or even to the whole concert. Best wishes from a German Aurora fan : Gerry

And this was part of a two part Documentary and concert at Haik (Worth checking out) This was a special day for Aurora with lots of surprises that ended with this concert in the forest (definitely in her element. She is a true nature girl) And at the end you will see her parents (the man that kisses the woman on the head) This concert was fabulous and so true to who she is as a person.

This concert was recorded in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood, her parents are the couple that the camera zooms in on a few times on the left.

I subscribed after hearing this performance by AURORA. Recommendations for more reactions include (1) just about anything from the Nidarosdomen Christmas Concert (particularly "Through the Eyes of a Child," "Little Boy in the Grass," "Lucky," "It Happened Quiet," etc.). (2) The 2018 KEXP Concert: "All is Soft Inside," Churchyard," "Soft Universe."

Aurora is a fantastic talented singer / songwriter. Recommend any live performance, like Warrior at the Red Bull Sessions, It happened Quiet from Nidarosdomen or Churchyard from KEXP Iceland. Or any other song from the HIKE concert.

I love this song. The one thing that drives me crazy is whoever did the lyrics really butchered the hell out of them. Some of them don't even make any sense. I don't blame them, because even Aurora says the online lyric sites get them wrong too. It's very annoying. The lyrics are actually really beautiful. I wish they had gotten them all right. As for Aurora, she has become my favorite and I've been around a long time and have heard a ton of music. She is truly unique and is one of the sweetest, kindest, most humble people I've ever seen. Some find her to be weird, but that only makes me like her more. You should definitely check out the live stuff at Nidarostomen. It is so beautiful. Everything she does is so different and unique. I hope you continue to explore her songs. You won't be sorry. Many different sounds and styles.

Second sentence. You mean the subtitles in this video and not the lyrics were butchered. Aurora did the lyrics. 😁

@@TomTomson81 You know what I meant, but I know you have to give me shit ..LOL. It just drives me crazy. Although, I have seen some versions that actually get it right. Only a few, but I have seen some. I haven't seen any of the online sites that get it right though. Wonder why no one ever corrects them.

@@justjulie37 Believe me, it bothers me too. But I found it very funny at the moment. I didn't want to be taken from me 😁🤘 They put so much effort into this concert and then someone shoots such a buck. Make up words or leave out complete lines. Those who put the lyrics online don't have it easy with Aurora either. In one version of the song "it happend quiet" she says "across a crying land" and in another she says "a dying land". In "Running with the Wolves" she sings "Trick or Treat" and in another "locked or free". 😁 I like the latter better.

@@TomTomson81 Yeah, I've noticed that she changes lyrics sometimes. Not sure if it's intentional or if she forgot the lyrics (Which is cute as hell when she does that)

About Aurora: The concert was part of a surprise day for Aurora. The first part was a ducomentation in which you learned more about Aurora. The documentary starts at her home and goes to the final concert here in the forest (both on youtube). The whole trip was peppered with many surprises for Aurora and the concert itself. She knew that she was giving a concert, but not where and under what circumstances. There were also big and small surprises in the concert itself. Like the falling feathers here. Check out "The Seed" from the same concert. There is also a huge surprise in there for her. You can tell by the expression on her face. The forest was not chosen as a place by chance. Aurora grew up there and there is nothing more important to her than nature, music and humanity in every conceivable positive way. She is a wonderful person who is actually too good to belong here. Aurora is a singer, songwriter, composer and producer. She played and wrote her first songs in Norwegian when she was 6 years old. When she was 9 years old, then in English. It wasn't until the age of 14 that her parents discovered her talent. She had kept it a secret until then. She never wanted to be known or perform anywhere. She immediately turned down her first record offer. Her mother later convinced her to share her music with the world because it helped her herself. Aurora is what you call a real emphat. Very close to nature and down to earth. Highly intelligent, introverted, funny and sensitive. Everything about her is real. She did not create a fictional character for the stage. She's a normal person, but really better. She is often criticized as unrealistic. In fact, she has ideas about life that everyone should have. She just has different priorities. Her "trademark" are her sometimes involuntary movements in her songs. She expresses a lot through her body. She has so much energy that has to go out but cannot do otherwise. That is the case with many introverts. But with her a little more pronounced. Usually you dance to the music. With her it's more like the music dances with her. She feels her songs. 9:09 her parents. She self cuts her hair ... with pizza scissors (no joke). She makes her clothes herself or together with her sister. She doesn't like it expensive. She does not adhere to any conventions. She puts on outfits that don't have to go together. Sometimes they just have to smell right 😁. Live appearances are still better than her videos. So stick to live gigs. Everything from Haik, KEXP, Niderosdomen, Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 by Aurora live Nobel Peace Prize Concert. is one of their saddest songs. It's about euthanasia. "It happend quite" live Niderosdomen. Kind of a rape and revenge Story. You can find out more about these songs in the corresponding reactions, if you should continue the journey with her and us. Something else important. At Aurora's live performances you don't have to worry about a block. So you don't have to pause every ten seconds. Actually not at all. With Aurora you get probably the nicest fan base around. Their "Warriors and Weirdos" as Aurora calls them.
@John-gv2ug3 жыл бұрын
Not "emphat" it is "empath", from empathy. "emphat" would relate to emphatic (forceful) and while her performances are in that category, I don't think that was the point that you were trying to make. PS Also "Nidarosdomen" not "Niderosdomen" ,"They're "Warriors and Weirdos"", not "Their ..." and "It Happened Quiet" not "it happend quite".

@@John-gv2ug Oh congratulations you've discovered a spelling error in this long text. You are the hero. I think everyone but you knows what I'm talking about and how I mean it. Look for a hobby. To accuse other people of typographical mistakes is just poor. Especially since that's not even my language. I know very well how empath is written.
@John-gv2ug3 жыл бұрын
@@TomTomson81 If you know, why the error? Not one spelling error mate, multiple and errors of context and meaning. If you are, as you seem to be, with your long comments popping up everywhere, trying to put yourself forward as an Aurora expert, then get things right. If you can't, then make your comments simple so that you don't stuff up so often.
@TomTomson813 жыл бұрын
@@John-gv2ug Because mistakes can happen? So far, no one has bothered with it. And you don't seriously believe just because a little would-be teacher wants to tell me what I have to do and not, do I do that too? Come down from your high horse and take care of your own shortcomings. And if you think my texts are complicated, because I'm supposed to keep them simple for you, then you should be the last one to teach me. 😉 How about if you wake up and just ignore my texts and spread your knowledge where they interest anyone? 😁 "trying to put yourself forward as an Aurora expert" yes, sure. That will be the reason. Definitely worth it for me. Such thoughts come to mind almost exclusively to people who do just that themselves. I don't even understand the point of this motivation here on youtube. I find this just a ridiculous insinuation of someone who is actually seeking attention. I just want to change people a little closer to Aurora, if that's possible within a limited scope at all. I think she deserves more attention as a human being and as an artist. And sometimes you create enthusiasm through information. That's all.
@John-gv2ug3 жыл бұрын
@@TomTomson81 Not "little", I'm average height for the male of my species. Not "would-be teacher", I taught secondary school for 33 years, so disseminating facts and correcting ignorance was my profession. I don't have a high horse (or any other elevated animal) and my shortcomings are being effectively dealt with. You should try to the same with your limitations. As far as needing your texts to be less complicated, not an issue, I can cope intellectually. Your writing is complicated, not as a result of being particularly insightful but because it is so poorly structured. You could easily make your ideas clearer with better application of spelling and grammar. Last point, ignoring ignorance is one of the worst crimes that humans perpetuate, even at the most basic level as it is what allows the likes of Trump and Bolsonaro to get into important positions with long term negative impacts for millions of people.
