If and when you get your drive back you should try to find the alternate version of Episode 2 which Little Kuriboh did for a charity stream. He changed the script to such a degree that certain words were changed to the word "vagina". I swear it is the absolute funniest abridged episode of ANY Abridged series. It might be a bit hard to find but if and when you do find it it is a MUST WATCH. And if LittleKuriboh (real name Martin Billany) sounds familiar to you he is the voice of the Narrator AND Frieza in DBZA.

The English dub of the show makes sense of all of this your question about why Grandpa Moto lost is because of the hologram projection arena Kaiba has. Everyone before the show used paper mats so for an old man seeing the card being brought to life was too hectic also some of Grandpa's cards are honestly useless complicated
