Usually I’m not keen on modified classic cars but I really like that cut away car , that 4x4 MGB reminds me of the MG that Jeremy Clarkson stuck on a Land Rover chassis and called it the MGD , great video and nice see something different

Thanks for your comment - the half-car is probably my favourite too - really well engineered. I actually got to sit in it at the MGOC last year - more tricky that you think to get into it!

@@forestghost7 I'm looking for 1964, B reg and close to Nov, I won't be able to forget it's age then, apart from that I expect to pay £15-£20K, probably mid to late next year, if it's later in year it will be my bday present myself 😂.

Trying to decide whether or not I should send this to my (hs-college-present day) friend who, in 1973 as a freshman at USC bought a used '68 MGB, kept it basically stock & rebuilt the engine 3X & just rebuilt the rear suspension for the 2nd time. Drives it to present, 350k + on the odometer, always top down. Maybe not...

Great stuff on this channel! BTW, I’m about to do a interview video with a guy and his two MGB’s, older ones with chrome bumpers. (Toad Hall, classic cars museum in Cape Cod) I’m not a huge car expert, just love cars. Any advice on making the video or how to get it out to the masses from you would be amazing, but no pressure of course. Your channel has been fantastic over the last week as I tried to study up MGB and MG in general.. all the best!

Thanks so much for the comment - always appreciated. My day job is in video production for various manufacturers so have done a few interviews! If you';re shooting on a single camera, try to shoot in 4k to get a 2 shot - that way, if you deliver your final video in 1080P, you can crop in to give you "2 shots for the price of one". If you wanted to send me the video before you publish, I'd be happy to make constructive comments if that would help. I've had a quick look at your channel - there's lots to see so will have a better look when I have more time. :-) I'd be happy to include your video in a roundup of MGB videos, so let me know when its done!

@@ClassicMGB it’s incredibly nice of you offer a bit of your time and expertise. I will certainly follow up with you on this. I will continue watching your channel before the filming this weekend. The guy, Bill Putman is a cool old-timey car collector. I’ve done two videos of his museum and he offered to do individual videos of the cars as a series. My hope is that we can eventually get one started up although none of them have run in years, since his mechanic passed. And just to say, your channel is very professional, and your delivery of info and stories is top notch. Cheers!

@@ClassicMGB hi, don’t want to tie you up, just wanted to also say, yes, I will set my camera which is my iPhone 13 Pro Max to 4K for this video. I will also be using a second iPhone for additional footage, additional lighting, along with brand new lapel mics. Thank you for your help, and if there’s any way I can help you and your channel, I would be happy to. Thank you for taking a peek at my channel. It’s based on cars, but a much wider range than your channel is. I’m really enjoying making videos of abandoned or defunct vehicles, in particular. Additionally, I write all the background music on GarageBand.. Will follow up with you upon completion, before release. Really interesting video here of these modified MG’s, also the one with the stretched MG’s…Cheers!!

@@ClassicMGB hello again, will be filming the two cars this Sunday. It turns out they are both 1958 MGA’s, cars are preserved, but not in showroom condition, kinda aged…If you had any interesting questions you think I should ask Bill, the owner, I’m all ears. All the best, love this channel.

I agree, I kinda hate to see them modded to these extents, they've lost their charm. I have a 72 BGT, the only mods are upgrades to make it 100% reliable (daily driver) ... and a highly tweaked 130 HP motor
