Do you follow Milabu? She has a baby girl and a toddler boy. She tests all the “baby stuff” and has chronicled the first year of both babies. She reviews what products you will actually use as well as the ones that hold up. You will also love the outfits. Another channel is the Wads. She always wears her baby so you can see what carrier she likes. I actually watched her have her baby, she filmed it. It will give you some perspective. I know when I had my first baby I was clueless..there was no KZbin….Milabu channel will definitely help you…

I have to say the nighties I call them with the elastic at bottom are so convenient and nice for bed time when they’re so new in the middle of the night diaper changes I absolutely loved them for the girls and the boys when your soooo tired in like I said middle of the night instead of the zippers or buttons. That was one of my life savers…. Even with the grandbabies my kids all say the same thing. I can’t believe I forgot to tell you forever ago 😮

Omg Brian was so outrageously funny in this video! & his parting remark just made the whole video. He should be in a commercial 4 the store! Like u said u can never have enough crib sheets. Add onsies in that category also. Easily 3 or 4 a day! Don't know if u will be nursing but look in2 a product by Leechco that's a nursing pillow but also doubles as a floor pillow 4 the baby. I think they have it at BBB but I know also at Walmart. Do u know if BBB has a buy back program 4 car seats like target sites? That's also something 2 think about

Baby tips: I wouldn't buy too many newborn clothes they grow out quick, I really like the momcozy wearable pump if you choose to pump, The Konny baby carrier is really easy, 2 bottles that I liked were the tommee tippee silicone bottles, and the chicco duo hybrid.

My husband and I are going to buy a crib for my new great grandson before he arrives. I’ve already told my granddaughter I would get it for him. He will be in another state when he’s born. I’m hoping to see him before he gets too old. He won’t be here until the summer. I have five granddaughters and two grandsons. I love to go to Carter’s near me. Just for the younger kids. And m youngest grandson will be four next month. I’m sure we will go shopping and he will get some summer clothes. I love shopping for kids clothes. I bought my five year old granddaughter a lot of dresses for her last birthday. She wears a lot of dresses. I have gotten shower gifts for friends from Buy Buy Baby. But I’m not sure I’ve ever been inside a store. When my kids were born they had a blanket in their beds, probably pillows too. That was over forty years ago. We didn’t know any better then.

TIPS FOR CAR SEAT. The only thing i want to say is read about how much safer it is to keep the kids rear facing for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. In Sweden where i live almost every child is rear facing until at least 5 years old, many up to 7. :)

I have that same Aurora crib and you can usually get it on Amazon for around $450 instead of the $699 that is costs in BuyBuyBaby. It still seems like the high price but it's super high quality wood. Majority of cribs are mainly particle board or cheaper wood that isn't going to last as long. I'm sure you read it, but this converts to a toddler bed, kid bed and eventually full size bed. Also, there where no damages in shipping whatsoever when it came through Amazon. It's packaged super secure!

Should’ve went with a Tula Baby carrier!! They have ones that snap from newborn to preschool age and it’s provably the nicest, most cost efficient, and comfortable carriers I’ve ever owned. I’ve tried almost every brand and style with my 4 kids and always go back to Tula.

That was the most fun video! I haven't been baby shopping since my last grandchild was born 17 years ago! Buy quality pieces but, for things like car seats, please know that safety issues change and some things may have to be replaced. Are you doing disposable diapers or having a diaper service? I got diaper service as a gift and used the cloth diapers for 6-9 months and I loved it! Some babies are allergic to the plastic in the disposables, as two of my four children were, especially when they were very young. I used a few in an "emergency" situation, and one got a severe rash, and the other got blisters! There are hypoallergenic disposables but, with such delicate skin, I went with the cloth diapers in the beginning. Brian definitely looked like he was enjoying the experience, and I am so happy for you both. Can't wait to see the nursery, and don't forget to have your hospital bag packed well in advance - like now!

Really fun cute stuff. So glad to see the little girl’s stuff is not overwhelmed pink. I had a little boy and my friend had a baby girl about 3 weeks later. I used to buy her little girl beautiful blue clothes occasionally because she had big blue eyes like my son. People thought they were twins when they were little. Her Mom liked the clothes I bought her as her family always bought pink pink clothes. It was fun to mix it up a bit. Doesn’t look like you guys will have any problem with all the options. Don’t beat yourself up about buying clothes. Babies can go through several outfits on some days with diaper leeks or spit up. Doesn’t happen all the time but it gives you an excuse to put on a new outfit. Looking forward to see you enjoying your baby time and setting up the nursery.

Years ago I worked at babies r Us, which sadly is no longer around. Anyways when people would come into do their registry I would tell them to register for everything that the baby will need for the first two years of life. And anything that they think they may use or need. That way it'd be less that they would have to buy and they can try all different types of things because not every baby is the same or likes the same thing. Or can wear the same diapers??? It's probably different for girls but I had two boys and the only diapers they could wear was Luvs. Lol

Let me share some motherly advice regarding your comment that you prefer solid colors vs prints for baby's clothing - prints and patterns better hide/camouflage spit-ups/drooling. So you may want to reconsider and choose a print top with solid bottoms for baby, and while I'm dispensing advice, a pattern/print top for new mom is also a good choice for the same reason.😘

Get a mobile that plays music....think all tactile and bright colors....babies need lots of stimulation. I think pastels have a place, but just not with mobiles or play mats or toys.....be careful with fabrics that could pill or shed....your baby could choke .....I'm so happy for the 2 of you. Babies are always a good thing.❤
