happy new year, muffin!! it's always great to hear from you, and i'm really glad to see you working through your relationship with art and creativity! as a fellow musician who went for a (shortened) college education, the things you've said about feeling the need to create for yourself versus your career make a lot of sense to me and my own experience. there's a constant push for productivity in the online creative space, and i want you to know that taking breaks and having other priorities is OKAY!!! we KNOW you are a person. we like you!! you create such a wonderful atmosphere by just being yourself. thank you for sharing this side of your creative process with us, as well -- it's an introspective time for a lot of people, and it's good to talk about. the work we've seen has already shown so much of your personality and your skill, and it's really inspiring to see you keep at it despite all of these changes! i love watching your production and composition evolve in real time. congrats on your marriage and on the move!! i know that there is a bright future for you and i am very excited to see what comes next on your creative journey!!
